Sausage and salami factory Pilu

The sausage and salami factory Pilu, located in Bottida in Loc. Nuraghes, was established in 1999, thanks to the long experience gained by the owner, who was in charge for the meat preservation by the Levoni factory in Langhirano.
The firm chose to respect the traditional processes, which have been handed down for centuries. Therefore, the products of the factory are made with local freshly butchered pork meat.
The particular attention when selecting meat and the accurate processing, based on the ancient processing techniques, give a superb taste, allowing to obtain high-quality craft salami and cold pork meat, which are appreciated by more and more customers.
The salami and cold pork meat produced by the factory are handled by skilled staff, according to an ancient family recipe, with natural herbs and spices and they are made into sausages only in natural guts.
Obviously, after the skilled and precise processing, every product is accurately controlled throughout the seasoning, which takes place in special storeroom at suitable temperature and humidity, in order to achieve a genuine, pleasantly tasty and scented product.
The Pilu factory works according to the decree No. 155/97 about self-control, by using suitable machinery, which allowed to gain the EU award (EU stamp No. 9-3454 L) for fresh and high quality meat based products, according to the HACCP procedures.
Different specialities are produced: sausages, salami, bacon, lard, and other products which meet the needs of the actual customers, in a commercial context on the move.
